Brother Kay

Brother Kay is an individual who believes in the literal and practical power and saving grace of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  As such, he is passionate about seeing Christians taking up the full armour of God and living the believer’s abundant life as Christ intended.
Brother Kay’s calling is to set free the children of God who are bound and shackled in the devil’s chains of oppression and to point out the way of Christ to them as exemplified by the following words of Christ:  And as you go, preach, saying “The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons....Freely you have received, freely give”. Matthew 10 vs. 7 and 8.

Dislikes:
People who are arrogant and proud.  I have also never liked eating rice or cabbage.

People I Would Love to Meet / People Who Have Greatly Influenced My Faith

I would have loved to meet Jesus Christ of Nazareth, King David, Joshua and the Apostles Peter and Paul in person. Unfortunately John Wesley, William and Catherine Booth, William J. Seymour, Smith Wigglesworth, Charles Haddon Spurgeon and Kathryn Kuhlman lived before my time, but they were great men and women of God whose work for God can still be felt today. Derek Prince and Dave Wilkerson have gone on to glory with the Lord but their works have forever profoundly shaped my faith. Not forgetting Pastor Zac Poonen, Billy Graham and my own Senior Pastor Kodjo J. Boateng.

Earliest Childhood Memory:

Two memories still remain fresh in my mind. 1) Nursery school food....Eissh it always seemed to taste the same whatever the menu...and 2) Accompanying my Dad to his workplace one day, and watching him operate complex mechanical engineering machinery. Wooooow!!! This always made me want to be an engineer from a very young age.

Musical Taste:
I enjoy listening to a wide range of musical genres, and being a musician myself, I have never wanted to box myself.

Most Embarrassing Moment:
When I was aged around 6, my best friend and I got on his older cousin’s bicycle which was far too big for us to control properly. We ended up smashing the bike into the back of a grown up man. Miraculously, no one was hurt and greater still, the man didn’t hit us or report us to our parents. He just said ‘Kids, be careful next time’ and walked away. Hallelujah!

Favourite Biblical Quotations:
I have too many to quote, but I trust the following will suffice:

“...But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” Joshua 24 vs. 15.

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgement, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their righteousness is from me, says the Lord” Isaiah 54 vs. 17.

“A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you” Psalm 91 vs. 7.

“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the father is seeking such to worship him”. John 4 vs. 23.

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on hill cannot be hidden......Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven”. Matthew 5 vs. 14 & 16.

“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you”. Luke 10 vs. 19

.
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last”. Revelation 22 vs. 13.

Words of Advice:
“And beloved, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to his work”. Revelation 22 vs. 12.

Beloved, Jesus Christ is coming soon and His reward is ready. Do not be found wanting on the day of Judgement. Will you be ready?
